• Great hotel in great location!

  Great hotel! Wonderful hotel staff, clean rooms, all the amenities anyone could need. I would recommend to anyone and would definitely stay again. The kitchenette was fully stocked and the room had a private deck to enjoy. It was conveniently located to restaurants and to the beaches.

  Couldn't give this place less than 5 stars even if I wanted to! Had the best stay here and would book again in a heartbeat. Great location to must do's, hot water beach and cathedral cove etc. The owners were so so nice and the room was just perfect. Breakfast was great and they have great wifi and a washing machine and dryer which was an added bonus! Thank you!
• Great stay in small coastal town

  The room itself was great for me and my wife. We are from the US and it did not have an American motel feel. It was a great, small property in a small coastal town. The bed was super comfortable. The bathroom was nice and amenities were just fine. Everything worked and there wasn't anything else what we needed. The patio just outside the room was great too. The size of the room was great for the two of us and we just couldn't have asked for anything more. The location was great. We were able to go to Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach earlier that day. The morning of our stay, we went up to Mt. Paka for sunrise and that was absolutely stunning. When we left Tairua, we drove down the coast to Tauranga so the location was really convenient.
• Gorgeous motel, definitely worth a stay

  We visited Tairua as it is close to Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach. The motel is absolutely gorgeous with lovely furnishings and the kitchen has everything you need. The private outdoor area with BBQ was a bonus. Sabeena helped us plan our visit to Cathedral Cove and Hot Water Beach to make the most of tides and lent us some spades for the beach. We had a great stay and in hindsight, should have stayed longer than 1 night. Tairua and the surrounding area are beautiful, definitely worth a visit.

  Spent one night here and we're very impressed so will definately return again. Lovely hosts made you feel welcomed and were very helpful. The room was way better than expected and had a lovely private out door setting. Perfect location for taking a waterfront stroll to the township. Quiet and well setup so each room was offset to the other so you didn't here other guests through the walls.

  Just spent 3 nights here and I can only reiterate what others have said. Definitely 5 star in all areas. Lovely new owners since we stayed last Labour Weekend. Clean, comfortable bed, and equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommended.
